Scope

Truly a reimagining of the industrial unit. Overlooking the south channel of the Hunter River is the latest Cubby Hole industrial micro unit development.

Located in the Steel River industrial precinct, these units provide a wider use case by offering services not generally associated with industrial units.

To make these spaces usable and inviting for businesses and individuals meant windows! And lots of them.

All units overlooking the river boasted floor to ceiling glazing measuring a massive 3m wide and 5.8m high.

Across the development, Hunter Windows designed, manufactured and installed our largest industrial windows project to date, with 131 louvre windows, as well as 27 hinged, and 22 bi-fold glass doors.

The Specifics

The end result was quite stunning, and once again we are proud to have teamed up with other Hunter businesses (Hunter Precast, Hunter Structural Steel) and GWH on this project.

Statewide Bearings

Built by GWH for Statewide Bearings, this industrial building contains our hard wearing Zeus aluminium powder coating on a range of commercial windows and doors.

  • AWS 400 series fixed centre glazed framing
  • AWS 452 series sliding window framing
  • AWS 50 series hinged doors

Bolton Street

Positioned in the historical flourishing East End of the city of Newcastle, 25 Bolton Street is a four storey (plus basement), sophisticated building that has been artistically transformed into A Grade commercial office spaces.
